No matter how hard things may seem on a day to day basis you are ‘blessed’ and have been since the beginning of the 1st Century AD.
Following the death and resurrection of Jesus, there was one who doubted, when the other disciples said “We have seen the Lord!” Thomas who was not present on that occasion said he would not believe unless “he could see the nail marks in Jesus’s hands and put his hand into his side”.
One week later Jesus came and visited the disciples again and Thomas was there. Suddenly his doubts were gone, because he saw with his own eyes and believed.
Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” JN 20:29.
That means that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Son of God is ‘blessed’, because they have believed without seeing. That should give you a great feeling of peace and I hope that you will be thankful for that blessing.
My prayer is that you will believe and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, who said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” John 10:10.
