On Tuesday, December 10 I went to Tesco in Caister on Sea (where I live) and left the lights on in my car, resulting in a flat battery.
A very kind lady and her husband took me all the way back to my home so that I could phone my mechanic and get him to replace the battery. The journey back to mine took nearly an hour but they would not give me their address or phone number and the only thing I did find out was that they came from Spalding.
I was so very thankful to them both, they had restored my faith in human nature but I had no way of really letting them know how I felt or to reward them.
I am 79 years old and have some good friends around me but this caring from complete strangers was amazing. I just hope they read this.
