Playing field just as important to Spalding people

First of all I am pleased to see that John Hayes MP has found something to put his energy into (the “We’ve Had Enough” campaign”) and would like to know when he is going to find the energy to put into the saving of the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field.

He must realise it is just as big a concern to the inhabitants of Spalding.

The Sir Halley Stewart Field was put in trust on October 4 1952 under section 4 of the Physical Training and Recreation Act of 1937 and is registered at the Charity Commission under the No 1084450.

The Trust states that the Field is left in perpetuity as a playing field to the inhabitants of the town of Spalding.

Now I believe that this means forever.
