Otters are moving along the Welland

Have your say

I came across a dead otter while travelling home on July 24.

It was on the side of the A16 between Crowland and Cowbit and had obviously been killed by impact with a motor vehicle.

It appeared to be an adult but its sex was indeterminable due to impact damage.

Whilst a tragic event it is evidence that otters are moving along the River Welland and associated waterways which is great news.
