Most mobility scooter riders very careful

Have your say

AFTER reading Mr Bishop’s letter about the most unfortunate accident he had in a Spalding shop, by what seems to me a totally inconsiderate person, I would like to add that if people buy scooters new they are registered with the DVLA and have documents to prove so.

Plus they must (if 8mph ones) also be taxed yearly to allow them on the roads legally.

Lastly, not all us mobility scooter users are inconsiderate as in your letter, but mostly very careful drivers keeping speeds to the lowest in shops and on paths whilst going about our daily business.
