The Environment Agency have irresponsibly issued a map, published in the Spalding Guardian, showing us all to be at serious risk of flooding.
They are making excuses, in advance, for their own incompetence of any unlikely event and which would not be possible if they were to maintain the high standards of generations of great drainage engineers.
The dark blue parts of the map (high flood risk) are meant to flood and are part of the engineering. We live in the best protected part of the
Scaremongering like this can only benefit the insurance companies who canthen hike up the insurance premiums and never have to pay out.
The Agency have cried wolf too many times to deserve any respect.
