REGARDING Alfred Cole’s letter in the Lincolnshire Free Press on Tuesday – the constant complaining about Polish, Lithuanians, Estonians and Hungarians makes me sick.
Have you ever looked at the drunken English louts?
I am German and came to Britain in 1962, got married and had a mother-in-law who called me a horrible name until she died. How would you have taken that Mr Cole?
My marriage lasted nearly 50 years until my husband John died last year.
Since then I have had friends who are Lithuanian, Portuguese and English help me. But anything good about our foreign workers does not get printed in this biased paper. Do people ever think before they say something? As you hollow into the wood, so the echo comes back.
I’m sorry to say that, but the English think they are the crème de la crème. Wrong. There are good and bad in every walk of life and in every nation.
I have them even in the family, so there you are.
I am not ashamed of speaking the truth and I am not kowtowing to anyone.
