OK the the Pinchbeck Carnival parade route could have been better, but we all learn by mistakes.
However, the parade is just part of what has become a wonderful annual village event for all to enjoy and which appears to get better each year.
To achieve such a successful event takes a lot of planning and organising and I would like to thank not only all carnival committee members but others who so freely gave up their time and expertise.
Also a great thank you to those who entered out talent competition this year – they presented not only a competition but a very high standard show. Indeed, Pinchbeck has got talent.
There are so many people who deserve our thanks but I would need almost a full spread to name them.
I feel proud to be part of Pinchbeck Carnival and all that it stands for and trust that inconveniences caused by temporary road blocks will soon be forgotten, leaving all that was good about the carnival to stay in our memories for many days.
