FARM VEHICLES: Some tractor drivers not so courteous

Have your say

I refer to Roy Congreve’s letter “How about a thank you when we pull over” (Lincolnshire Free Press, October 22).

Maybe Lincolnshire Field Products should take a leaf out of your book as they can be crawling along the A151 between Holbeach and Spalding with miles of traffic behind them and paying no attention to the congestion they are creating in their wake.

One particular example was when I was following a tractor on a narrow road who pulled over to let an approaching vehicle past him, but then pulled out sharply again instead of just waiting another half minute for me to pass him.

I have no problem with giving courteous farmers a toot of thank you, but there are those who are just inconsiderate.
