FAMILY HISTORY: Anyone got memories of Tommy Sullivan?

Have your say

I am trying to find information about the life of a Thomas James Sullivan (known as Tommy).

He left the army after World War Two and although married to someone else in Herefordshire decided to make a new life in Lincolnshire with another lady.

Although unable to marry, Tommy lived with the other lady (name unknown but possibly surname of Coddington or related to an owner of a local garden nursery in or around West Pinchbeck or Spalding).

Tommy worked and lived around this area from around 1950 to 1993 and was known to frequent the local hostelry called the Horse and Jockey.

Tommy and this new lady had a daughter named Patricia (Sullivan ). The new lady eventually left Tommy to go and live in Ludlow.

Patricia was born 1946 and it seems she possibly married about 1966 in Spalding, possibly to a Jason Fowler.

The garden nursery may have been called Gruby or similar.

Tommy then met an Evelyn Glover and they married in 1971 in Spalding and they or she owned a shop in West pinchbeck until Evelyn passed away in 1992, aged 77, a year before Tommy passed away in 1993, aged 79.

Does anyone have any knowledge of Tommy and his life, in particular his daughter and her mother and any other relevant information please.
