COUNCIL: Covering the cost of human error

Have your say

Reading (South Holland District Council deputy leader)Paul Przyszlak’s published letter in which he mentioned savings of £1 .6million, I wondered if the saved monies mentioned have gone into the reserve or deposit account.

There were huge losses from the Red Lion Quarter and Nestwood homes, both documented in your paper, which cannot be ignored. Surely any savings made by Compass Point Business Services will come in the future, not the present.

Therefore as a mere tax payer I conclude that the redundancies covered the cost of human error and wondered about the human cost in balancing the books to cover that error.
