Regarding the notices pinned to the gravestones in Hallgate cemetery, surely a little flexibility could be shown here.
It is coming up to a year since our son Kieran died at the age of 37 and the pain is unbearable.
We cannot imagine what it is like to lose a baby.
We do have some artificial flowers on Kieran’s grave because we cannot visit every day to check the flowers haven’t died.
What looks better? Artificial flowers, or a vase of dead flowers.
We think members of the parish council should consider people’s feelings in this and not worry so much about the cemetery looking uniformly neat and tidy.
Does it need to look nice for Holbeach in Bloom?
