It was a double celebration at Bourne Academy, where there were 100 per cent pass rates in all A Levels and the sixth form BTECs.
Stars of the show were Mia Shaw, with one A* and three A grades, whilst Sophie Wesley gained three As and one B.
Headteacher Laurence Reilly said: “It is impossible to do better than the 100 per cent A Level pass rate achieved this year, so my congratulations go to both our Year 13 students and their teachers.
“I am also delighted with our 100 per cent BTEC pass rate in the sixth form.”
The school is gaining a reputation for achieving high standards in both A Level and BTEC courses, with many students successfully combining them.
Ellen Bishell achieved A grades in A Level French and Psychology together with a distinctions in her Art and Business BTECs. Thomas Cooke achieved an A grade in A Level Performing Arts and a double distinction in BTEC Sport.
Ellensaid: “I’m really pleased that I’ve got the grades I needed to go the University of Kent in September on a scholarship.”
Sophie said: “I worked hard and am incredibly happy that I will now be going to the University of Sheffield to study English Literature.”
And Mia added: “My grades are beyond what I had dreamed of and I’m really look forward now to going to the University of York in September.”
