Work will start this year on Crowland affordable homes development




Work will start this year on constructing more than 50 affordable homes in Crowland.

Longhurst Group will be building 55 homes in Crease Drove after receiving planning permission from South Holland District Council.

The homes, which will be a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom properties, will be built by GEDA Construction. They will be available for Shared Ownership, Rent to Buy and affordable rent.

Marcus Keys, Longhurst Group’s Executive Director of Growth and Development, is thrilled to be delivering more affordable homes to South Holland.

He said: “We’re aware of the need for more affordable housing for rent and home ownership across South Holland district and are delighted to be able to bring these much needed homes to fruition.

“The 100 percent affordable development will start construction this year and I’m looking forward to seeing the site progress as we deliver much needed new housing to Crowland and the surrounding area.”
