The accident on December 3 at just after 4pm happened on the A15 northbound, near the Elsea Park roundabout in Bourne and close to McDonald's.
Since the accident, a woman in her 80s has died.
The woman was a passenger in a silver Honda which collided with the back of another vehicle, which police believe was a dark Range Rover Sport which did not stop at the scene. Another vehicle was also involved.
