Police appeal after boy (13) struck by car in Bourne

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy crossing the road was hit by a car in Bourne.

The incident happened in Eagle Road, Bourne on Tuesday, October 9 at around 8.30am.

The driver of the silver car, which may have been a Ford, did stop at the scene but did not get out of his vehicle and did not leave his details.

The boy received minor injuries.

A police spokesman said: "While we continue our investigation we are specifically appealing for the driver of the vehicle to contact us, also, anyone else who has witnessed the incident."
