There was good news and bad news when Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register was published on Friday.
The annual snapshot of the health of England’s historic environment saw Crowland Abbey removed from the list but Moulton Windmill added.
Historic England grant-aided repairs have been completed at Crowland Abbey, with comprehensive conservation of its rare medieval statues and other urgently necessary repairs.

Historic England has offered a grant for repairs to the fan tail structure, which will require the services of a specialist millwright and some heavy lifting gear.
