There have been many great stories written for children, but few really great stories that are loved and enjoyed by both children and adults.
Wind in the Willows is probably the greatest of these, which may explain why St Nicholas Players Amateur Dramatic Society is performing it in Spalding from Wednesday.
It’s been adapted for the stage by Alan Bennett and contains wonderful characters that provide lots of comedy, particularly Mr Toad and the people he meets during the pursuit of his passion for speed and real drama.
Wind in the Willows is on at South Holland Centre from Wednesday, March 20 through to Saturday, March 23, at 7.30pm each night plus a 2.30pm showing on Saturday.
Admission is £9.50 for adults, £8.50 for over 60s, under 26s, people with disabilities and their companions.
