A school’s garden will be looking bloomin’ lovely thanks to a donation from a supermarket.

Surfleet Primary School’s Wildlife Warriors have been busy setting a series of plants which were given by Morrison’s.

The supermarket had contacted schools across the area to offer plants and seeds, which were gratefully accepted by Surfleet.

Some seeds were given to youngsters to take home while other plants will be added to the school garden.

Head teacher Rick Chipperfield said: “We are so thankful that Morrisons for this opportunity.

“Some of our children will work in food and farming so it is important to give them an insight into this.”
