PC Alastair Pullen visited to enrich children’s learning on the topic of People who help us, and took part in a Q&A session.
Class teacher Rachel Cannon says: “The children had a hands on experience with the handcuffs and learnt how to use them. The policeman showed the children his radio, his uniform and spoke about how he stays protected.
“The children also got to look inside the police car, which they loved. Excitement was added when PC Pullen left with lights flashing and sirens on.”
