School award for pupils in 2000

Youngsters at a Spalding school have won an in-house award for work seen as a benefit to the school.

Pupils in class two at Garth School, were presented with the Challenge Shield after completing a project based on religious education.

Head teacher Linda Dowson said the pupils travelled to visit a mosque in Peterborough and looked at ways of improving RE resources within the school.
