WEEKEND WEB: Air cadet gets his Wings in 1967




We look back to the pages of the Spalding Gazette 50 years ago.

Cadet Sgt Robert Henry Vaughn Humphries, of Pinchbeck Road, Spalding, was presented with his Flying Scholarship Wings after completing 12 hours’ solo flying and passing various exams.

Making the presentation was Wing Commander HA Clark, officer commanding Lincolnshire Wing Air Training Corps.
