Can you home stunning Dutch Herder Ripple?
Here is the weekly Man's Best Friend column by staff at Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Algarkirk...
My name’s Ripple and it’s fair to say I’m stunning. With being a Dutch Herder, I’m looking for an experienced, active adult-only home.
I’d need an owner who loves to do dog sports in order to help keep my brain active.
I love to explore and I’m very confident on the agility equipment and doing scentwork so I’d love to carry this on in the home.
I love everyone I meet but I’m not so keen on other dogs, so I will need to live in a quiet area with access to walks where I won’t bump into any other dogs – a secure field would suit me fantastically.
Because I’m not keen on other dogs (including neighbouring dogs), I don’t want to live with any other dogs or cats but there is potential for separate cages – small furies who can be kept behind a closed door.
I really love to play with toys and play tug so a garden with six foot fence is essential for a good run around.
I’m a very good girl spending time on my own, and my leaving hours will need to be slowly built up but I think I can manage being left for two to four hours once settled.

Can you help out with treats?
Here at Jerry Green we are unfortunately still running low on our training treats.
These are vital to the work that we do here, and help our dogs a whole lot.
We use the treats for lots of different things such as training, giving medication, making friends and lots more.
Training treats such as Schmacos or Wagg treats are perfect and we would appreciate any donation, even just one packet would help us so much.
Please contact us on 01205 260546 or email email@example.com if you would like to make any donations or, alternatively, you could visit our amazon wishlist to send our dogs a little gift through there: www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/1PQB2IST767S0?ref_=wl_share
