Spalding trader welcomes work to tackle anti-social behaviour in town centre

A Spalding trader has welcomed a town centre ban for a man after incidents of anti-social behaviour and threatening behaviour.

Spalding man Matthew Bellerson received an interim injunction from the County Court at Lincoln last week, after a spate of complaints about his behaviour and several incidents of threatening and harassing other members of the public and South Holland District Council staff.

Spalding Town Retailers’ Association chairman Darren Sutton, who is a prominent trader in the town, says that it’s right this power has been exercised by the courts.
