Spalding arson attack: 'We could have been burned alive'

Two homeless men want the world to know they could have perished in flames the night their home-made shelter was destroyed in an arson attack.

Jan Staniszewski (60) and Jaroslaw Sielski (50) were plagued by yobs throwing bricks and stones over the six months they lived behind Spalding's derelict Bull and Monkie pub.

But nothing prepared them for losing the shelter - and everything they own - when they went out to watch TV at a friend's house.
