Drivers warned about big queues for Spalding tip

Motorists are being warned to expect large queues around Spalding tip this morning.

There is heavy traffic in and around the household waste recycling centre in West Marsh Road - with residents advised to go again another day if they can.

A Lincolnshire County Council spokesman said: "Please be aware Spalding household waste recycling centre is quite busy this morning - expect long queues.

"Plan your journey at quieter time or on another day.

"Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."
