A man whose family hail from Sutton St Edmunds is embarking on a 20 mile walk to raise money for charity.
Alan Lamb (73) will be walking from his home in Farcet to his birthplace Sutton St Edmunds for Parkinsons UK.
Alan chose the charity after his daughter was diagnosed with Parkinsons at the age of 30.
The money Alan’s walk raises will be going towards the Peterborough branch of the charity, who meet for social meetings and hold exercise classes once a week.
The walk takes place on October 5 and will finish at Sutton St Edmunds village hall.
