Volunteers praised for Holbeach Christmas lights

Have your say

Holbeach Parish Council members have praised volunteers who helped put up this year’s Christmas lights in the town.

The lights were seen by hundreds of visitors to the annual Christmas fayre in Holbeach last Sunday and the event was discussed at a council meeting in Holbeach Hurn on Monday.

Parish council vice chairman Terry Harrington said: “We would like to say a very sincere and genuine thank you to the helpers and volunteers who gave time and supplied equipment for the lights to be put up.

“It wasn’t a small project and without them, Holbeach wouldn’t have any Christmas lights.

“They are the unsung heroes of the town.”
