Volunteering opportunities in south Lincolnshire

Have your say

Bakkavor Salads in Spalding and QV Foods at Holbeach Hurn both agreed to be collection points and their fantastic staff donated toys, gifts and food for children and adults to this very worthwhile charity. Thank you to you all.

In early January many people make resolutions which for many, by the time you read this, will have been broken. The average time people stick to their resolutions is about two weeks. If you would like to do something different in 2015, something that will not only benefit you but a local charity or good cause, why not volunteer? It doesn’t matter what age you are, if you only have a couple of hours a month or a couple of days a week. Organisations and charities cannot survive without their volunteers.

Donington Youth Club needs club leaders and helpers – could you help out on a Monday or Friday evening?

The Pennygate Foundation requires an accountant – are you an accountant or a retired accountant with a little time to spare?

There are children’s centres in Spalding, Holbeach and Sutton Bridge that would like some volunteer assistants. Are your children now at school and you would like a career with children one day? It would be a wonderful addition to a CV.

There is a new charity shop in Spalding that needs volunteers and a van driver. Would you like to volunteer in a shop or drive a van? We help many local charity shops looking for volunteers and many groups need someone who can drive.

If you are interested in the above opportunities or any of over 200 different volunteering opportunities available in the South Holland area, please contact us on 01775 718008 or email us at spalding.v@lincolnshirecvs.org.uk and we will be happy to help you.
