Donington to host vintage and antique market at the weekend
A vintage and antique market will be attracting people to Donington this weekend.
Trader Antoinette Young helped to organise this new market for the village, which follows on from the successful artisan market.
Shoppers will be able to browse around seven to eight stalls, which will be set out on Sunday from 10am to 3pm.
Jewellery, clothes, pictures, old tools and furniture will be among the items on sale at the market.
Antoinette, who runs Antoinette Vintage in the village, will also be supporting the market by setting out some items.
She said: "This is the first time we have an antique and vintage in the Market Place and hope we get all the support.
"Two weeks ago we had an artisan market which was fantastic. The stallholders did well and we had singers from Donington and Gosberton. It was lovely. Shops were open and the cafe did well."
The village began to host markets last year.
