Sutton Bridge Art Group will present their paintings at St Matthews Church in the village later this month.

The competition, which takes place from August 24 to 29, will be judged by the public and tea and coffee will be served.

Art exhibitions have been held at the church since 1997 and they received funding from Sutton Bridge Power Fund.

Organisers are looking for new members for the art group which already has 40 members. They meet every Wednesday afternoon at 2.30pm at the Curlew Centre in Sutton Bridge.

A vast variety of paintings and prints will be on display, which later on will be sold, with proceeds going towards restoration of the church.
