Volunteers repair Spalding nature reserve after trees felled but South Holland police appeal for help in tackling vandalism in area




Trees at a nature reserve have been felled by thoughtless yobs who were making dens.

Volunteers at Vernatts Nature Reserve in Spalding have rallied around over the weekend to repair the damage.

Stumps coming out of the ground are all that remains of half-a-dozen trees which were damaged in an undiscovered section of the reserve where teenagers have been lighting fires.
