A van became stuck on the central reservation of the A17 in Sutton Bridge after a collision there on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the A17, near Cross Keys Bridge, at 8.40am after a caller reported that a van had collided with the central reservation barrier.

An eye-witness reported seeing a "long wheelbase Volkswagen van wedged on the steel-type central reservation" in the middle of the single carriageway road.

"We will then inspect the barrier to see whether any repairs are necessary."
