Gosberton War Memorial's current state of untidyness has pushed a parish councillor close to quitting




Frustration over delays to tidying up Gosberton War Memorial has led one parish councillor to consider quitting.

Five months after plans were agreed to hire contractors to remove weeds and mend a broken wall at the war memorial, off High Street, work is no closer to starting.

During a meeting on Monday, Coun Rona Perry told members that she was "almost ready to step down" because of the lack of progress.
