Spalding Rail Station improvement work to start on December 3, Network Rail confirms
Work on a £2.5million upgrade of Spalding Rail Station, including new lifts, is to start before Christmas.
Better lighting on the footbridge and extra CCTV cameras at the station are also part of the improvements confirmed by Network Rail on Tuesday.
Passengers will not be affected by the work, due to start on Tuesday, December 3, and take about seven months, although ten parking spaces will be taken up by a "compound area" while the work is being done.
