Two-vehicle crash in Holbeach leaves one person needing treatment at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston
A two-vehicle crash in Holbeach led to one person being taken to hospital, it has been confirmed.
The vehicles collided at the junction of the A151 Spalding Road and Greenwich Avenue, Holbeach, at about 10.10am.
An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed that two ambulances and a paramedic were sent to the scene.
The spokesman said that one person was taken by ambulance to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital.
FRIDAY 12.15PM: One person cut free by firefighters after two-vehicle crash in Holbeach
One person had to be helped from their vehicle by firefighters after a crash in Holbeach this morning.
Reports of a two-vehicle crash on the A151 Spalding Road, near the junction with Greenwich Avenue, were received by emergency services just after 10.10am.
Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release a casualty from one of the vehicles and gave them first aid before paramedics arrived.
There is no news yet of injuries or whether anyone has been taken to hospital.
FRIDAY 11.15AM: Two vehicles involved in collision on the edge of Holbeach
Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle collision on the outskirts of Holbeach this morning.
It happened on the A151 Spalding Road, at the junction with Greenwich Avenue, just after 10.10am.
Fire crews from Holbeach and Spalding are currently at the scene and road closures are in place.
