Spalding incident: Two in custody as police try to find identity of injured man
Police are appealing for witnesses after an unknown man was found with a serious head injury in Spalding.
Officers attended Cedar Court just after 7.20am yesterday (Wednesday). It is unclear how the man received his injuries, but officers believe he may have been assaulted. They are still trying to ascertain his identity.
Cedar Court houses South Holland Council-owned sheltered accommodation and retirement bungalows.
Nearby Johnson Avenue and parts of Alexandra Road were sealed off by police yesterday.
One man, aged 43, and two women aged 40 and 18, were arrested in connection with this. Two remain in custody and will be dealt with in due course. The 18-year-old has been released without any further action. Investigations are ongoing.
