Police are responding to reports of an unexploded device at an auction house in Bourne.

The device, described as an ordnance, is thought to be a Second World War explosive.

Police are currently on the scene at Golding Young and Mawer in Spalding Road having been contacted at 2.06pm.

Roads are closed at South Street, Abbey Road, Eastgate and Spalding Road with traffic diversions in place.
