Tydd St Mary Primary pupils staged their gymnastics festival at Holbeach and Fenland Gymnastics Club.

The club's Lauren Day teaches gymnastics at the school, but that's mostly floor work and the visit to the gym meant the pupils could do more work safely at height.

Head teacher Sonya Ely said: "The day has been a huge success with some of our youngest pupils experiencing the beam and parallel bars for the first time."

Two Tydd pupils, Chloe Clifton and Oliver Browne, compete at national level and the day meant their classmates could witness their excellent skills.
