Police carry out drugs raid at house in Spalding and arrest two women on suspicion of possession with intent to supply
Two women were arrested in connection with a drugs operation at a house in Spalding, police have confirmed today.
It happened at a property in Double Street, Spalding, where two women, aged 18 and 37 respectively, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
Inspector Gareth Boxall, neighbourhood policing inspector for South Holland, said: "A warrant was executed as part of an ongoing operation to address drug dealing in the town.
"The arrests on Friday were the latest in a number of arrests throughout the town in relation to the supply of drugs.
"However, residents should be reassured that South Holland has no bigger a problem with drugs than anywhere else in the country.
"Nevertheless, we are determined in our efforts to work with partners in targeting those people and addresses that are causing the most harm to the people of South Holland."
Both women were later released under investigation by police.
