Spalding Baptist Church hit by lockdown burglary as IT equipment snatched




Criminals have left a trail of damage at a Spalding church after breaking in and stealing a range of IT and audio-visual equipment.

A TV, four laptops, two digital projectors and an overhead projector were all stolen from Spalding Baptist Church during the break-in during the early hours of Monday, November 16.

However, a church officer confirmed that its normal Sunday service will be streamed online this weekend, despite the break-in.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area of Swan Street, or who has dashcam footage from the area during the time of the incident, should call Spalding Police Station on 101 and quote incident number 380 of November 16.
