Ginger Baker tribute from Spalding's Barbecue 67 musician




One of the musicians who was part of Spalding's famous Barbecue 67 line-up has paid tribute to the legendary drummer Ginger Baker who passed away over the weekend.

Live Promotions Managing Director Colin Ward chatted backstage with the Cream drummer between sets and was even given a pair of his drumsticks.

Ginger, whose real name was Peter and is credited as being one of the most influential drummers of all time, died at the age of 80 yesterday (Sunday, October 6).
