An elderly woman (79) from Kirton was taken to hospital having suffered a “medical episode” before crashing into three parked vehicles.

She was driving a grey Citreon C4 which collided with some vehicles parked on London Road, Boston, at about 5.10pm on Thursday and the road had to be closed for more than two hours.

The woman was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, but then transferred to Lincoln County Hospital and a Lincolnshire Police spokesman said the crash was “low impact.”

He added that she had “suffered what is believed to be a prior medical episode” and the road reopened at about 7.45pm.”
