Five people have been hurt, one seriously, after two separate crashes on the A17 in Holbeach.
The first crash happened in Washway Road just before 3.20pm and firefighters used cutting equipment to free one person who was then treated at the scene by paramedics.
They were then taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, while two other people were treated at the scene and discharged.
Later. a two-car collision took place at the junction of Penny Hill Road and the A151 Holbeach Road.
Emergency services were called to a two-car collision at about 3.50pm and paramedics treated a woman aged in her 70s for back and chest pains.
The woman was trapped inside one of the cars and had to be helped out by ambulance crews, firefighters and an air ambulance team, before she was also to Pilgrim Hospital where she is in a stable condition.
Another woman aged in her 20s escaped injury and after being checked over, she was allowed to go home.

A crash on the A17 in Holbeach is causing problems for motorists driving home from work this afternoon
The road is partially blocked in both directions between the A151 Holbeach Road and its junction with Penny Hill Road.
Emergency services are at the scene of the crash and recovery work is taking place, but diversions are in place and motorists should expect delays.
