Two men injured after A17 crash in Fleet

A two-car crash on the A17 in Fleet has left two men in hospital, one with a broken collarbone.

It happened near the Beijing Palace Chinese restaurant and Anglia Motel where a green Ford Focus and black Volkswagen Polo collided at about 6.20pm yesterday. (Thursday).

A man in his 60s driving the Ford was taken to hospital after experiencing chest pains, while a man in his 20s who was driving the Polo is being treated for for a broken collarbone.

The road was closed for nearly two hours following the crash and was finally reopened just after 8.15pm.
