A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured in an accident on the new A1073 bypass at Crowland.
The man, whose details are not yet known, came off a red Triumph bike at about 1.30pm today.
Police say they believe he has sustained an arm injury but it is not believed to be life threatening.
Officers say the incident may have involved a Vauxhall transporter vehicle, which did not stop at the scene. A spokesman said the driver may not be aware the motorcyclist had come off his bike.
The road has not been closed but drivers have been warned there may be slight delays.
The accident comes just days after motorists called for action to be taken over road safety measures on the new road.
Last Wednesday an eight-month-old baby boy and his parents were seriously injured after a head-on collision on the same stretch of road.
