Trains back on schedule after breakdown

The East Midland Trains service between Lincoln and Peterborough - incorporating Spalding - has now reopened again after a train broke down earlier.

All normal timetabled services now resume.

PREVIOUSLY (TUESDAY, 12.20PM): A rail replacement bus will depart Peterborough at 12.05 and call at Spalding, Sleaford, Ruskington, Metheringham and Lincoln, after a train broke down at Metheringham this morning.

PREVIOUSLY (TUESDAY, 11.20AM): There is disruption on the East Midlands Trains route between Lincoln and Peterborough this morning because of a broken down train.

The train has broken down at Metheringham and a replacement bus is expected at 11.30am to take passengers on to Sleaford, Spalding and Peterborough.
