Community Speed Watch training at Spalding's Castle Sports Complex on August 19

Another chance for people interested in becoming a Community Speed Watch (CSW) volunteer to train is taking place in Spalding on Monday, August 19.

It takes place at Castle Sports Complex, Albion Street, at 6pm about the traffic calming initiative run by Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, with support from Lincolnshire Police.

Cowbit, Deeping St Nicholas, Long Sutton, Pinchbeck and Weston are the five parish councils in South Holland to have organiser CSW patrols which monitor traffic speeds and then notify police of drivers not keeping to speed limits in 20mph, 30mph and 40mph areas.
