TRACTOR owners had their treasured vintage and classic workhorses out for fun at the annual Working Tractors Weekend.
More than 40 vehicles including one Caterpillar and several horticultural hand-held tractors criss-crossed 60 acres at Hazelwood Lane, Holbeach.
With 80 per cent local owners taking part there were still a number of tractor fans from as far as Wiltshire who camped overnight on the land lent as usual by JH & AJ King Farms and Lincolnshire Field Products.
Through donations more than £500 was collected for Holbeach Hospital funds.
Joint organiser Alan Thorpe, a JCB service engineer, said: “Most people were ploughing and some use it to practise for ploughing matches as there are no rules.
“As a result not every furrow was a straight one and some people made quite a mess!”
