Crowland in Bloom steps in to fund annual flower basket scheme

Crowland in Bloom volunteers and residents have been thanked for raising nearly £1,000 to fund the town's annual flower baskets display.

The coronavirus lockdown saw shops in the town closed after a commitment to buy the hanging baskets had already been made by Crowland Parish Council.

Business owners would normally pay the parish council for the right to have one or more flower baskets display outside their premises.
